Donovan Robertson is an LA-raised, Bay Area-based stand-up comedian and actor. He grew up in South Central LA, moved to Calabasas for high school, went to college in New Orleans, and now works in tech in the Bay Area. He’s spent his life bouncing between very different worlds, and his comedy is a reflection of that. His material pulls from dating, race, awkward social interactions, and his many attempts to fit in.

Donovan originally got into stand-up as a punishment for finishing last in his fantasy football league. Turns out losing was the best thing that ever happened to him.

He was a finalist in the 21st Annual Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Competition and has been selected for the Big Tomato Comedy Festival, Oakland Comedy Festival, and Trailhead Comedy Festival. He has performed at Cobb’s Comedy Club, Punch Line San Francisco, San Jose Improv, and Don’t Tell Comedy shows throughout the Bay Area.
